CORPORACION DEL ACUEDUCTO Y ALCANTARILLADO DE SANTIAGO

La Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santiago (CORAASAN) fue creada mediante la Ley No. 582 del año 1977 y modificada por la Ley No. 328-98 de fecha 11 del mes de agosto de 1998, como una institución de servicio público, autónoma con personalidad jurídica, patrimonio propio e independiente y duración ilimitada, provista de todos los atributos a tal calidad, con plena capacidad para contratar, adquirir, contraer obligaciones y actuar en justicia.

Está dedicada a la administración, operación y mantenimiento de los Acueductos y los Alcantarillados de todos los municipios que integran la provincia de Santiago. La gestión de la Institución está orientada por la responsabilidad social, la auto sostenibilidad financiera y el respeto al medio ambiente, condiciones que consolidan su liderazgo dentro del sector a nivel nacional.

Las estrategias para la consecución de sus objetivos se enmarcan en la planificación, siendo el Plan Estratégico 2016-2020 el instrumento de rigor durante este período a través del cual se afianzó su misión, visión, valores y objetivos.
